Moving to the Top of Google: How this Australian Relocation Service Agency got 260% more monthly conversions.
Claymore Thistle are a Relocation Service and Real Estate Agency based out of South East Queensland, Australia. When audited, the client had no organic traffic through generic keyword rankings, only branded traffic through branded keyword rankings. Another issue that the client faced was a damaged site architecture, which meant that they couldn’t get any conversions through Organic. Consequently, the wrong pages showed up in results as indexing was not assured. With no previous SEO executed Engine Room’s goal and KPIs was to increase conversions, establish keyword rankings and improve traffic through organic.
To improve Claymore Thistle’s overall online visibility, Engine Room assured correct indexing through the creation of a new sitemap and the submission of it via Google Search Console, stopping the wrong pages from being indexed through removals on Google Search Console. Engine Room also enhanced user experience and page architecture through technical guidelines and CSS adjustments.
To increase conversions, we made improvements to the page speed, enhanced their internal linking and made some navigation changes. As well as implementing a keyword strategy, efficient keyword mapping and optimized all main on-page elements: Headers, meta data, anchors and ALTs. Through this optimization we were able to rank several pages in the top ten rankings for high volume keywords which generated a lot of organic traffic for the page.
