Target, Set, Match: How This Singaporean Tennis Academy doubled their Social Media Engagement Rate in 3 Months.
SportEd Tennis Academy provides world-class Spanish methodology tennis classes for learners at any level. Started by current ATP Tour tennis player Feliciano Lopez and internationally recognised coach Juan Manuel Esparcia, this one-of-a-kind tennis academy aims to educate and train kids to maximise their potential.
After launching in Singapore last August 2019, SportEd hired Engine Room to support their direct-to-consumer strategy and grow their Instagram audience and engagement. The highlight of the strategy was put towards building traction and awareness for their Grand Opening event, an exclusive live coaching clinic by co-founders Feliciano Lopez and Juan Manuel Esparcia in Singapore this February 2020.
Engine Room paired a proactive community management strategy with the use of fitness influencers and user-generated content to boost engagement. As a third of all accounts on Instagram follow at least one sports-related account, we leveraged the SportEd Instagram account to engage with like-minded sports enthusiasts in Singapore looking for a Tennis Academy
As part of our strategy, we also provided Creative Content Services for accelerated growth, which included a promotional video, designs for social media & other collateral. Pairing high-quality content, set with strategic targets and clear KPIs process was essential to a successful launch.
Sported Tennis saw 217% growth on Instagram in three months. More importantly, their post engagement and overall positive brand association with student increased dramatically.
